Shower  = Productivity

maybe someone told me directly or perhaps it was some advice from a past therapist
12//15//25
it doesn't really matter from where i heard it, but the idea is that washing off the day means you did something productive
// as if you can just wash the feeling away //
12//20//25
which never made any sense. on the one hand being clean could be the last thing on my mind
// in the puritan sense that is //
12//21//25
those were showers that i wished never ran out of hot water, i couldn't be bothered to think about productivity
// "even on christmas thou's sense of productivity shall be maintained" John 69:420 //
12//25//25
and then on the other hand, on days where i felt as if my physical body was scattered across the planet
//  all i could do is count the minutes till i had to brave the cold again //
12//27//25
unless i confront myself with a sense of constructiveness, the endless self criticisms won't find any conclusions
// maybe those versions are what should be washed, or rather, pissed down the drain //
12//31//25
and regardless, those versions want accept the need to change, unless they themselves find it necessary
// Thessius and I must have that in common //

Yet on the contrary, it is our duty, according to Plato, to share the news of the sunlight to save those entranced by the shadows in the cave
// tbf Plato, in my opinion, never thought about commodifiying the shadow and sell sunlight as a subscription  //
1//3//26
And seeing as we're taught a day's value depends on the perceived productivity of it, the "value" it brings, its hard to believe that won't bleed into every corner of your life
// value being loaded, as value of others seems to be relative to ones self lately //
